Our supporters play a crucial part, helping the operational team at searches and training exercises, as well as raising money and spreading the word.
It reduces the burden on the rescue team, who must attend weekly training, callouts, equipment maintenance days, meetings and events.

By joining our Supporters you can make a real difference to the safety in your area:
- Could you hide in the woods for our search dogs and teams?
- Could you organise a collection tin in your local shops?
- Could you attend a supermarket collection with a donation bucket once a year?
- Could you talk about the team to a local charity group, Lions, Rotary etc.?

How much work is it?
As much or as little as you like. If you just want to share and promote our facebook posts, that’s fine. If you want to help out at training; great! If you want to attend fundraising events with the team, you can.
It should be noted that some of our fundraising events can be quite last-minute, and some can be arranged several months in advance. This is usually beyond our control.
What is expected of me?
We will send out details of events as far in advance as possible via the email list.
If it’s a charity collection, you will need to read the pages of this website which are dedicated to charity collections and the law. It is important that the guidance is followed, to protect the charity. Click here to read them now.
Please note that in order to partake in fundraising, you must be over 16. And 16-17 year olds must be accompanied by an adult or guardian.
