Did you know that every Swiftwater Rescue Technician who works for West Mercia SAR not only has to qualify on a gruelling course every 3 years, but also has to take part in quarterly skills refreshers that we organise with outside training centres!
That cost adds up for our members – who pay for their own training – and so we appealed to the amazing gentlemen of Worcester Round Table to help us relieve that cost burden.
They agreed to fund a full year’s worth of refresher training for our water rescue specialists – a whopping £1380 – and help ensure that we keep as https://epilepsy.wales/zithromax-online many members as possible up to date with their qualifications.
This is the second year that the Table has supported WMSAR – previously helping us purchase some essential winter medical rescue kit – and is an enormous boost for the charity.
